King David was a mortal man, who lived, aged, and died.  A lifetime of experience is reflected in these psalms or songs.  Here he delivers the one single message that all of mankind needs for success.  That message points to the only answer we have; to look to someone else for our hope.  Our mission is to deliver that hope to others.

Psalm 146

Praise ye the Lord. Praise the Lord, O my soul.  While I live will I praise the Lord: I will sing praises unto my God while I have any being.  Put not your trust in princes, nor in the son of man, in whom there is no help.  His breath goeth forth, he returneth to his earth; in that very day his thoughts perish.  Happy is he that hath the God of Jacob for his help, whose hope is in the Lord his God:  Psalm 146:1-5

Do this in private, but do it in public too.  Tim Tebow is on target even while he is being a target.  Yes the world complains about preaching, but the lost sheep of Israel are in the same crowd.  So speak up!  Don’t place your hopes on wealthy or influential people, nut in the God we praise.  We will find our joy only in trusting god.

I have other blogs that address aerospace themes, and another that crosses between heaven, space, and earth.  I let the Lord have credit from time to time when I am challenging the established giants of aerospace.  I really need a miracle!  Joseph and Daniel were not of the priesthood, but their secular employment glorified God.

Which made heaven, and earth, the sea, and all that therein is: which keepeth truth for ever:  Which executeth judgment for the oppressed: which giveth food to the hungry. The Lord looseth the prisoners:  The Lord openeth the eyes of the blind: the Lord raiseth them that are bowed down: the Lord loveth the righteous:  The Lord preserveth the strangers; he relieveth the fatherless and widow: but the way of the wicked he turneth upside down.  The Lord shall reign for ever, even thy God, O Zion, unto all generations. Praise ye the Lord.  Psalm 146:6-10

This is God who created the earth unlike any planet ever seen to date.  God protects, feeds, and heals those who embrace him.  This is God Who loves those who are faithful yet delivers evil men to judgment.  This God is forever and he is to be praised; to the world.

Psalm 147

Praise ye the Lord: for it is good to sing praises unto our God; for it is pleasant; and praise is comely.  The Lord doth build up Jerusalem: he gathereth together the outcasts of Israel.  He healeth the broken in heart, and bindeth up their wounds.  He telleth the number of the stars; he calleth them all by their names.  Great is our Lord, and of great power: his understanding is infinite.  Psalm 147:1-5

Yes, we sing praises to God in worship too.  Even in the sanctuary praise is good, even if we are all gathered believers.  God reinforces Jerusalem, his church through praise.  When we demonstrate praise to the congregation they learn that this is our key purpose, and they are healed and made whole.  God is the creator who knows all of his creation, every star and asteroid by name.

The Lord lifteth up the meek: he casteth the wicked down to the ground.  Sing unto the Lord with thanksgiving; sing praise upon the harp unto our God:  Who covereth the heaven with clouds, who prepareth rain for the earth, who maketh grass to grow upon the mountains.  He giveth to the beast his food, and to the young ravens which cry.  He delighteth not in the strength of the horse: he taketh not pleasure in the legs of a man.  Psalm 147:6-10

This God lifts those who are willing to be humble, rejects the cheaters and the violent.  Sing praises in the congregation and join the musical instruments in harmony.  God provides rain for plants, which feed the animals and the baby birds in the nest.  God is not impressed by the strength of man or beast, which he created and harvests as all flesh.  To a world of industry he still provides as he did for agriculture.  There is some credit for the workers, and destruction for the greedy captains of industry.  He warned the Jews not to abuse their own, and needs no union to render judgment in his season.  He is not impressed by our skill in marketing or manufacturing and does not forget the crimes of our greed.

The Lord taketh pleasure in them that fear him, in those that hope in his mercy.  Praise the Lord, O Jerusalem; praise thy God, O Zion.  For he hath strengthened the bars of thy gates; he hath blessed thy children within thee.  He maketh peace in thy borders, and filleth thee with the finest of the wheat.  He sendeth forth his commandment upon earth: his word runneth very swiftly.  Psalm 147:11-15

God has built walls around the people who call on his name.  Publicize the goodness of this God who secures the locks on your fortress.  God has given you a home of peace and prosperity for your health.  God has published his word to the word, and it quickly influences the people of the world around you.  Your light motivates the lost to desire your hope, so tell them his name.

He giveth snow like wool: he scattereth the hoarfrost like ashes.  He casteth forth his ice like morsels: who can stand before his cold?  He sendeth out his word, and melteth them: he causeth his wind to blow, and the waters flow.  He sheweth his word unto Jacob, his statutes and his judgments unto Israel.  He hath not dealt so with any nation: and as for his judgments, they have not known them. Praise ye the Lord..  Psalm 147:16-20

When the fall comes he sends the frost, then the blizzards on the earth.  When the winters of life are harsh, who can stand in the icy blast?  But as the seasons move, the warm spring melts the snow, and fills the rivers with the water that brings us life.  He teaches the righteous leaders his word, the living water, for our prosperity.  No nation outside the Kingdom of God sees this prosperity, and you are released from God’s anger by grace.  Remember to Praise our God.

Psalm 148

Praise ye the Lord. Praise ye the Lord from the heavens: praise him in the heights.  Praise ye him, all his angels: praise ye him, all his hosts.  Praise ye him, sun and moon: praise him, all ye stars of light.  Praise him, ye heavens of heavens, and ye waters that be above the heavens.  Let them praise the name of the Lord: for he commanded, and they were created.  Psalm 148:1-5

We are all called to Praise God, those with him in heaven, those on the high achievements of this life, even the angelic host above us all.  Our celestial Sun, moon,   planets, and stars are placed to reveal his glory.  There are galaxies beyond the galaxies that we can see or detect, and nebulas of living water giving glory to this creator, Yeshua Ha Meschia, Jesus, our Lord.  Let us all praise the God who spoke us into being.

He hath also stablished them for ever and ever: he hath made a decree which shall not pass.  Praise the Lord from the earth, ye dragons, and all deeps:  Fire, and hail; snow, and vapours; stormy wind fulfilling his word:  Mountains, and all hills; fruitful trees, and all cedars:  Beasts, and all cattle; creeping things, and flying fowl:  Psalm 148:6-10

God created the universe to be eternal, not to collapse on itself or to end.  Every terrible living creature, powerful storm, shaking mountain, volcano, and all life fulfill his word and publish his praise.

Kings of the earth, and all people; princes, and all judges of the earth:  Both young men, and maidens; old men, and children:  Let them praise the name of the Lord: for his name alone is excellent; his glory is above the earth and heaven.  He also exalteth the horn of his people, the praise of all his saints; even of the children of Israel, a people near unto him. Praise ye the Lord.  Psalm 148:11-14

David was a king who pulled the people together and established a great nation.  It grew stronger under his son Saul, but never help the moral high ground as it did under David’s godly modesty.  God is our refuge and every ruler of this age should give him glory.  The name of the Lord is the key they needed, and Jesus, Yeshua provided that key.  Those who praise any other deity, government, or philosophy are denied the power of his grace.

Psalm 149

Praise ye the Lord. Sing unto the Lord a new song, and his praise in the congregation of saints.  Let Israel rejoice in him that made him: let the children of Zion be joyful in their King.  Let them praise his name in the dance: let them sing praises unto him with the timbrel and harp.  For the Lord taketh pleasure in his people: he will beautify the meek with salvation.  Let the saints be joyful in glory: let them sing aloud upon their beds. Psalm 149:1-5

Let Israel and the children of Zion have joy in their King.  We remember that David revealed a King in his prophesy earlier, a messiah who is revealed as Yeshua, who we pronounce as Jesus now.  This is not a king, but the word is capitalized as King, the only King of Israel.  And we remember that Yeshua allowed both Jew and Gentile to be grafted into the tree of Israel.  The sons of Ishmael are also being rejoined with their brother Isaac in the house of Abraham…there is revival in the crisis of ISIS!  If you are among the celebration in Zion then join the celebration!  God is pleased with his people and reflects his beauty over you now…rejoice!

Let the high praises of God be in their mouth, and a two-edged sword in their hand;  To execute vengeance upon the heathen, and punishments upon the people;  To bind their kings with chains, and their nobles with fetters of iron;  To execute upon them the judgment written: this honour have all his saints. Praise ye the Lord.  Psalm 149:6-9

Your praise of God is your weapon against the gathering darkness.  Christians are being martyred all over the world but their praise is raising up a greater army even as during the Roman persecution.  Praise of Jesus is your power to overcome, even as Christians won over Rome and the world.  The Kingdom of God is without boundaries so be within the kingdom when judgment begins.

And I saw the beast, and  (ALL!) the kings of the earth, and their armies, gathered together to make war against him that sat on the horse, and against his army.  Revelation 19:19

The kings of the earth will make war on God.  All the kings of the earth will choose the wrong side.  But your Kingdom is without boundaries and is always found with the army of the Lord.  Your boundaries are established in your praise of the only name by which you can be saved:  Yeshua Ha Meschia, Jesus.

Psalm 150

Praise ye the Lord. Praise God in his sanctuary: praise him in the firmament of his power.  Praise him for his mighty acts: praise him according to his excellent greatness.  Praise him with the sound of the trumpet: praise him with the psaltery and harp.  Praise him with the timbrel and dance: praise him with stringed instruments and organs.  Praise him upon the loud cymbals: praise him upon the high sounding cymbals.  Let every thing that hath breath praise the Lord. Praise ye the Lord..  Psalm 150: 1-6

Do not be deceived, no political party is Christian, and no nation is Christian.  True faith is a minority and cannot win the vote or the carnal warfare.

Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.  Matthew 7:14

Arms will not save you from corrupt government.  All the nations of the earth will war against God.  The KINGDOM OF GOD will be HIS army, and the boundaries are found within his praise.  Christians are in the Kingdom of God wherever they are now, and we will be with him when his time comes.  Here is where you should be when his time comes:
